What is Full On! Magazine

Full On! Magazine is an interactive student webmag that aims to encourage students to continue with their education post 16. It is endorsed by the DfES, Connexions and Aimhigher (listed as an official resource) and contains articles to encourage students to pursue higher education and information about vocational and academic routes.

The magazine is student directed with regular features by students as well as celebrity interviews, music and games pages.

The magazine is set up and run by two teachers who had the idea whilst working in the East End of London.

The magazine comes out 4 times per year. Full On! has been in existence for 5 years and has proven to be a popular resource for students and effective means of widening participation. (Please let us know if you would like to see Institute of Education Research and testimonials.)

Full On! Web Magazine is available at a very low cost. The magazine can be uploaded onto your school’s intranet or accessed using a password for subscribing schools only.
The magazine offers teachers:

- The opportunity to have their own school magazine page
- The opportunity for students to write for the magazine and get their work published
- Upload video files to view on webmag
- Provide information to students about post 16 educational opportunities
- Provides advice from Connexions
- Competitions for students to enter including journalist of the year, and prizes to be won.
